Santa Clara's Christmas Party

The party was held in a beautiful old catholic church gym. The place was so decorated, of course.

All the students had santa hats on and were dressed in Christmas colors. They sang songs for us and it was so cute.

There is Annie, the director of Santa Clara, and Padre, the guy in charge of everything. Annie is the sweetest person. She is also a gringa married to a Honduran and she should be having her baby any day now. They did a great nativity play, including a live donkey that brought Mary into the building. Sorry my camera was taking blury picutres at this time.

Edgar was helping to serve the tamales to all the kids. I have never seen so many tamales in my life. There were about 800 between all the students and parents. They did taste great though. Santa came and gave each student a present. Truly pure craziness.
